” The Learning Station aims at providing children a platform for their holistic growth and development. The purpose and mission of the TLS is to inculcate and ingrain in the young, impressionable minds high moral values and standards along with formal education, which in the long run become their forte in turning them into righteous and noble men and women. The curriculum and programs are designed to ensure physical, mental, intellectual and ethical growth of children. Right from day one, they will be taught to differentiate between right and wrong, good and bad, ethical and unethical, and then select and adopt what is right and appropriate for them for an honorable living. “
What your Child will learn at The Learning Station
Reading Time
When your Child is receiving guided reading instructions, he/she is:
- Learning various strategies needed to become a fluent and independent reader
- Building their fluency and comprehension
- Practicing phonemic and print awareness
- Reading to one’s self, reading to a friend, listening to reading and doing hard-work
- These authentic reading, writing tasks increase motivation, develop independence, increase stamina and can be differentiated for each student
